WHO WE ARE

The Young Artist Program is a free arts and social justice program centering BIPOC lgbtq+ youth ages 14-25 and accomplices in Philly 

We are is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space for teens and young adults in Philadelphia to learn and grow.

We are committed to using art as a tool for personal growth and social change by providing students with both art instruction and opportunities for political activism.

 

We meet 4 days a week at the Crane Arts Building in the Olde Kensington / Northern Liberties areas.

Ages 14-18: Tuesday thru Thursday; 3pm-6pm

Ages 19-25: Fridays; 3pm-6pm

 

Applications are open for 2022-2023.

From collaborative to individual art projects: we host teen exhibitions, skill-sharing workshops with guest teaching artists, gallery visits, outdoor hangs, and much more
